Electronic Classroom (Room 400)
The Electronic Classroom (Room 400) is an interactive instructional facility available to faculty and instructors. It is a equiped with state-of-the-art hardware and software including:
o Dual screen display with controls at the podium in the front of the room.
o Touch screen control systems for the instructor’s control interface.
o Auxiliary plasma screens throughout the room, to enhance visibility for the entire audience.
o Tele-video conferencing capability.
o Capability to record lectures/procedures in various file formats.
o SMART annotative system allowing real-time enhancement of computer projections.
o A third projector and screen in the rear of the room, permitting better far site recognition for the presenter.
o A dedicated connection from the Clinical Skills Center, permitting the room to be a virtual extension for that area.
